On January 22, 2026, under the Institute’s Innovation Cell, and in association with the NSS Unit, the Association of Computer Science and Design Educatee (ACODE), and the Association of Information Science and Engineering (AISE), the Departments of Computer Science & Design (CSD) and Information Science & Engineering (ISE) organized 'Rashtriya Matadana Dinacharane'

The students actively participated in this activity organized from 02:35 PM to 02:45 PM. The pledge-taking ceremony was conducted to mark Rashtriya Matadana Dinacharane. Students actively participated in the ceremony with enthusiasm and discipline, reaffirming their commitment to democratic values and responsible citizenship. The event helped create awareness among students about the importance of voting and encouraged them to actively engage in the democratic process. The programme was conducted smoothly and witnessed meaningful participation from the student community.

The event was supported by Prof. Sudarshan K., Head of the Department (HOD), The event was coordinated by Prof. Prajwal K S, NSS Coordinator, Dept. of CSD and Prof. Sahana Bandekar Department of CSD, Staff Coordinator, under the guidance of Prof. Archana D, Association Advisor of ACODE and Prof. Sowmya, Association advisor of AISE. Their teamwork and dedication ensured the smooth execution of the contest.
