The Department of MBA at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized a session on “Early-Stage Entrepreneurs” on 20th August 2025. The objective of the program was to inspire and guide students about the challenges and opportunities faced during the early stages of entrepreneurship. The session aimed to provide insights into identifying viable business ideas, overcoming initial hurdles, and building sustainable ventures.

The resource person for the session was Mr. Kishore B N, Founder of KK Events and Decors and Lecturer in the Department of BBA, holding Master’s degrees in English Literature and Commerce. He shared his entrepreneurial journey, emphasizing the importance of identifying opportunities in a competitive market, balancing academics with business, building networks and customer trust, and overcoming financial challenges in start-ups. The interactive session motivated MBA students to think innovatively, take risks, and confidently pursue entrepreneurial careers. It also provided valuable practical insights that helped students connect classroom learning with real-world entrepreneurial challenges. Overall, the program served as an inspiring platform to encourage young minds to explore and develop their entrepreneurial potential.
