The Department of Aeronautical and Automobile Engineering Association (AMARA), organized a quiz competition titled “TechTricolor Quiz – Freedom through Innovation” on 14th August at the Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangalur.

The event was organized as part of the Independence Day celebrations with the theme Patriotism and Independence Day. A total of 19 teams comprising 38 students participated in the event, reflecting keen interest and enthusiasm.

The quiz was conducted in two rounds. In the first round, participants answered 10 multiple-choice questions, and those who secured the minimum qualifying marks advanced to the next round. The second round was an image-based quiz, where participants had to identify and write answers related to 10 historical images displayed through slides. The rounds were engaging and encouraged participants to recall and connect with India’s rich history and freedom struggle.

The program was coordinated by Prof. Prakash S. T. and Prof. Jagadeesh B. under the guidance of Dr. Sandesh Kumar Rai (HOD – AU) and Dr. Praveen Shenoy (HOD – AE). The support and encouragement of Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, SIT, greatly contributed to the successful organization of the event.

The event was successfully conducted by students Ms. Poornima, Ms. Shruthi and Mr. Moskshith of 7th Semester Aeronautical Engineering, who ensured smooth execution of all activities.

The quiz successfully instilled a spirit of patriotism among students, enhanced their knowledge of India’s history, and provided a platform to showcase teamwork and innovation.
