On August 19,2025 under the Institute’s Innovation Cell, the Association of Information Science and Engineering (AISE) and Computer Science and Design (ACODE), the Department of ISE and CSD organized a workshop named “Innovators’ Archive: Capturing Creativity & Impact”.

The session aimed to provide students with practical knowledge on creating a Department Innovation Repository to archive and showcase student projects. A key highlight of the workshop was the integration of platforms such as GitHub and Notion to systematically store project code, abstracts, tech stacks, and outcomes. Students learned how to effectively document their innovations, upload project code to GitHub, and link repositories into Notion to create a structured departmental knowledge base.

The event was supported by Prof. Sudarshan K., Head of the Department (HOD), ISE and CSD. It was skilfully conducted by Shrinidhi Anchan, Spoorthi, Jothsna Kulal and Ashika from the 5th semester CSD and ISE. The event was coordinated by Ms. Aparna N under the guidance of Prof. Sowmya and Prof. Archana D, Staff Advisor of AISE and ACODE. Their teamwork and dedication ensured the smooth execution of the contest.

The workshop enabled participants to explore modern documentation workflows and understand the importance of preserving student projects for future reference, collaboration, and career growth. Overall, Innovators’ Archive: Capturing Creativity & Impact was an engaging and insightful session that empowered students to combine technical skills with systematic documentation practices.
