Vaikuntha Purapravesha Ceremony and DYNOCO Unveiling Held at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru

Mangaluru, January 20, 2026:

Shri Vaikuntha Srinivas Temple at Srinivas Institute of Technology (SIT), Valachil, Mangaluru, witnessed a spiritually vibrant and culturally rich Vaikuntha Purapravesha ceremony, marking the grand welcome of the Utsava Moorthis (processional idols) with devotion and traditional splendour.

The sacred pooja and rituals were performed by Dr. CA A. Raghavendra Rao Jee, Hon’ble Chancellor, Srinivas University and President, A. Shama Rao Foundation, along with Dr. A. Srinivas Rao Jee, Hon’ble Pro Chancellor, Srinivas University and Vice President, A. Shama Rao Foundation, and their family members.

The idols were welcomed in a grand manner through Kunitha Bajana dance, accompanied by vibrant traditional musical and cultural performances, creating a devotional and festive atmosphere across the campus premises.

The programme was witnessed by the Deans, Heads of Departments, faculty members from various colleges under Srinivas University, along with a large gathering of devotees who participated with great enthusiasm.

The entire ceremony was well coordinated by Dr. Sumana V.S., Cultural Committee Coordinator, along with Dr. Ananth Kumar Kulkarni (SWO & HoD – Mathematics Department), under the able leadership and guidance of:

Following the completion of the rituals, prasada was distributed to all devotees.

A key highlight of the day was the unveiling of “DYNOCO” by the Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. CA A. Raghavendra Rao Jee and Hon’ble Pro Chancellor Dr. A. Srinivas Rao Jee, marking an important moment of inspiration and innovation at Srinivas Institute of Technology.
