On August 4, 2025, under the Institute’s Innovation Cell, the Association of Information Science and Engineering (AISE) and Computer Science and Design (ACODE), the Department of ISE and CSD organized an ideathon named “Udaan – Igniting Ideas for India’s Tomorrow.”

The event created a vibrant platform for young minds to showcase their creativity and critical thinking. Students submitted a diverse range of ideas addressing key areas such as technology, sustainability, social welfare, and entrepreneurship. The ideathon not only highlighted the originality of student thought but also emphasized the importance of innovation in addressing challenges relevant to society and the nation at large.

The initiative was organized by Aditya Madhukar Bhat, Prasanna P, Ujwal Abhishek, and Shreenith K, whose efforts ensured the smooth execution of the event and active participation from students.

The event was supported by Prof. Sudarshan K., Head of the Department (HOD), ISE and CSD. The event was coordinated by Ms. Aparna N under the guidance of Prof. Sowmya and Prof. Archana D, Staff Advisor of AISE and ACODE. Their teamwork and dedication ensured the smooth execution of the contest.

Overall, Udaan proved to be an inspiring and impactful initiative. It encouraged students to think independently, align their ideas with the vision of national development, and explore the role of innovation in shaping India’s tomorrow. The ideathon not only sparked creativity but also instilled confidence in students to take their ideas forward for real-world impact.
