The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in association with STEADY and the Industry-Institute Interaction Cell (IIIC), organized an insightful expert session titled “From Ideas to Impactful Enterprises” on 20th August 2025 at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru.

The session was designed to inspire students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and equip them with knowledge about transforming innovative ideas into successful ventures. It provided a platform for students to understand the real-life challenges and opportunities involved in building startups and impactful enterprises.

The resource person for the session was Mr. Sathyaprakash Anekallu, Co-founder of SIYO Liquid Detergent (SLIDE). He shared his inspiring entrepreneurial journey, highlighting the importance of innovative product design, market research, customer-centric strategies, and business scaling techniques. The session also focused on overcoming challenges, adapting to changing market demands, and leveraging opportunities for growth.

Through insightful discussions, students gained a better understanding of startup development, innovation pathways, and the importance of perseverance in entrepreneurial success. The session was a resounding success, achieving its objective of fostering innovation, motivation, and entrepreneurial thinking among students.
