The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, under the STEADY Association, organized an exciting event titled “IoT Innovation Challenge: Prototyping with TinkerCad” on 23rd August 2025 at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru.

The event was designed to enhance students’ practical knowledge of IoT and foster innovation through circuit prototyping using TinkerCad. It provided participants with an opportunity to apply theoretical concepts to real-world applications, thereby improving their problem-solving skills and technical expertise.

The competition consisted of two rounds. Participants competed in teams of two and carried out hands-on prototyping exercises to demonstrate their technical capabilities.

The event was a grand success, fulfilling its objective of enhancing technical knowledge, boosting problem-solving abilities, and encouraging innovation among students. It also created a competitive yet collaborative learning environment, helping students develop industry-relevant skills in IoT system prototyping.
