Startup Summit: Demo Day – Outcome Showcase of GENAIVATION

The Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru, organized the “Startup Summit: Demo Day – Outcome Showcase of GENAIVATION” on 25th August 2025. The session was conducted by Mr. Prashanth Kannadaguli, from Dhaarini Academy, Bengaluru.

The event served as a platform for students to present the outcomes of GENAIVATION, an initiative focused on fostering innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking. Participants showcased their startup ideas, prototypes, and innovative solutions, demonstrating how classroom learning can be transformed into impactful entrepreneurial ventures.

Mr. Prashanth guided the students by providing valuable feedback on their presentations, highlighting the strengths of their ideas and suggesting practical improvements to make them market-ready. He also shared insights into the entrepreneurial journey, covering aspects of innovation, business validation, funding avenues, and the importance of resilience in building startups.

The session not only motivated participants to think beyond academics but also helped them gain confidence in pitching their ideas and exploring the world of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The success of the program was made possible through the support of Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal of Srinivas Institute of Technology, whose vision fosters innovation and alumni engagement. The event also benefited from the active leadership of Prof. Sudarshan K, Head of the Department of Information Science and Engineering, and Prof. Archana Devadiga, Association Advisor of CODE, Department of CSE. The seamless coordination by Prof. Sowmya, IIC Event Coordinator, Alumni Cell Department Coordinator, and Advisor of AISE Association, Department of ISE, ensured smooth execution and enthusiastic participation from students. The program was also supported by Staff Coordinator: Prof. Aparna N, whose efforts contributed to the successful conduct of the event.
