Think and Code
Under constant support of our Principal, Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, in association with ASCEE and ASICS, successfully organized Think and Code, a two-round technical event held on 21st August 2025. The event aimed to enhance participants technical knowledge, coding skills, and logical problem-solving abilities. The competition comprised two rounds. Round 1 was a Technical Quiz with a duration of 30 minutes, consisting of 20 questions. The first ten questions focused on aptitude, while the remaining ten were based on core programming snippets where participants had to determine the output. A total of 74 teams participated in this round, and the top 14 teams qualified for the next stage. After the completion of Round 1, refreshments were provided to the participants as a gesture of encouragement and support Round 2 was a Coding Challenge, where the shortlisted teams were required to solve a given problem statement by writing an efficient program within the allotted time. This round evaluated participants’ programming skills, logical thinking, and accuracy under time constraints. At the end of the challenge, the First Place was awarded to Tejaswini and Varsha, while Second Place went to Sahana BN and Reena for their outstanding performance.
