The Department of MCA, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized a session on “Angel Investment for Early-Stage Entrepreneurs” on 26th August 2025 at 1:00 PM in Room M-402. The resource person for the session was Prof. Swapnil Pai, Assistant Professor, Department of MCA, SIT, who shared valuable insights into the concept of angel investment and its significance in supporting early-stage startups.

The session aimed to enlighten students on various aspects of startup funding, including the role of angel investors, key investment strategies, and the opportunities and challenges faced by entrepreneurs in securing financial support. Prof. Swapnil Pai emphasized how aspiring entrepreneurs can prepare their ideas, build investor confidence, and align their vision with market potential.

Students actively participated and gained practical knowledge on funding mechanisms, entrepreneurial finance, and the importance of innovation in attracting investors. The session proved to be highly beneficial in nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset and motivating students to take confident steps towards building successful startups.
