On 21 November 2025, the MCA Department of Srinivas Institute of Technology organized a Field visit to Smartlink Holdings Limited (DIGISOL), Verna, Goa, under the MASM Association in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) Cell. A group of 31 students, accompanied by faculty members, participated in the visit with the objective of gaining real-time exposure to the networking industry. Company representatives introduced the organization’s operations, product portfolio, and market presence, emphasizing innovation, entrepreneurship, and business strategies involved in developing and sustaining networking products.

During the visit, students observed key processes related to networking technologies, including debugging, hardware testing, processing, and product development. They gained insights into the manufacturing and quality assurance of networking devices such as routers and switches, while also learning about entrepreneurial opportunities, product lifecycle management, and industry challenges discussed as part of the EDP initiative. The visit helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industrial applications, making it a valuable learning experience for all participants.
