Sattva: Balance Your Being
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, in association with the Women Cell,SIT successfully organized a yoga and wellness session titled “Sattva: Balance Your Being” on August 25, 2025.The session was led by Ms. Chithra and Ms. Sahana, both 5th semester CSE,students, who served as the resource person. The primary aim of the event was to promote mental well-being, mindfulness, and a healthy lifestyle among students through the practice of yoga and self-awareness techniques. More than 60 students actively participated in the event,engaging in a series of guided yoga postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques designed to reduce stress and enhance focus—an essential balance for academic and personal life. The event was graciously volunteered and supported by Ms. Pavithra, Ms. Thanvi, Ms.Tejaswini, and Ms. Abhijna,5th semester CSE students. The event was seamlessly coordinated and successfully executed under the guidance of Prof. Salini Abraham, Prof. Preethi, Prof.Sinchana, Prof.Reshma and Prof. Spoorthi B. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
