The Association of Automobile and Aeronautical Engineering (AMARA) of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, organized the Teachers’ Day Celebration on 4th September 2025 to honor and appreciate the invaluable contributions of teachers in shaping the future of students.

The Chief Guest of the event, Dr. Gopalakrishna Bhat N, Professor & Head, Department of Chemistry, was cordially welcomed and honored.

In his address, Dr. Gopalakrishna Bhat N highlighted the importance of Teachers’ Day as a reminder of the values and inspiration teachers instill in their students. He stressed the role of educators as guiding lights, shaping not only academic excellence but also character and values, which ultimately results in the making of responsible citizens of the country.

Dr. Sandesh Kumar Rai, Head of the Department of Automobile Engineering, spoke about the effort and dedication of teachers in guiding students to achieve success in life. Dr. Praveen Shenoy, Head of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, fondly recalled his own teachers and expressed that the real happiness of a teacher lies in seeing their students reach great positions in life.

The program was coordinated by Mr. Prakash T and Mr. Jagadeesh B, staff coordinators of AMARA, with enthusiastic support from students, under the guidance of Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, SIT.

The event commenced at 11:00 AM with Mr. Srinidhi, a 5th semester Aeronautical Engineering student, leading the prayer, followed by Mr. Siddarth C.S., a 5th semester Automobile Engineering student, extending a warm welcome to the gathering. Mr. Prakash T introduced the Chief Guest, while Ms. Harshita, a 5th semester Aeronautical Engineering student, proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Poornima, a 7th semester Aeronautical Engineering student and Ms. Bhavyashree, 5th Automobile student, served as the master of ceremonies.
