The Department of Marine Engineering, in association with AIMES, organized the Teachers’ Day celebration “Guru Vandana 2025” on 4th September 2025. The program was graced by Dr. Shankar K. S, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, who attended as the Guest of Honor. Dr. Lokesh V, Head of the Department of Marine Engineering, and Prof. Vivek V. Kumar, AIMES Coordinator, were also present on the occasion. In their addresses, both Dr. Shankar and Dr. Lokesh expressed heartfelt gratitude to the students for organizing such a thoughtful and well-planned event, highlighting the significance of teacher–student relationships in shaping academic excellence and personal development.

As a gesture of appreciation, the students felicitated all faculty members of the Marine Engineering Department with personalized mementos, recognizing their valuable guidance, mentorship, and contribution to academic and personal growth.

The event was coordinated by Mr. Shravan N. J. and Ms. Sanjana from AIMES, with enthusiastic participation from the students. The celebration also included refreshments and engaging interactive games, which added to the spirit of joy and togetherness.
