On September 17, 2025, on account of World Ozone Day, under the Institute’s Innovation Cell and the Association of Computer Science and Design (ACODE), the Department of CSD organized an event named OZONE CROSSWORD CRAZE

The event began with a brief introduction on the significance of “World Ozone Day”. Students from CSD and ISE participated enthusiastically. Participants were given guidelines on solving the crossword puzzle, which included clues related to ozone depletion. Participants solved the crossword individually/in teams within the given time limit. Completed entries were checked, and winners were selected based on accuracy and completion time.

The event was supported by Prof. Sudarshan K, Head of the Department (HOD). It was conducted by Ms. Deeksha Shetty and Ms. Raksha Shetty from the 7th Sem CSD. The event was coordinated by Prof. Sahana Bandekar, staff coordinator, under the guidance of Prof. Archana D, Staff Advisor of ACODE. The Dedication and efforts made by team truly lead to the success of the event.

Students gained awareness of environmental issues and the importance of ozone layer protection. The crossword format encouraged active participation, teamwork, and application of knowledge. The event successfully combined learning with fun, making the message of environmental sustainability more impactful.
