Internal Hackathon for Smart India Hackathon
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru, organized the Internal Hackathon for Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025 on 22nd and 23rd September 2025 at the SSOSC Lab. The event was held from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on both days.
A total of 27 teams, each comprising 6 members, participated in the hackathon. The teams enthusiastically worked on various problem statements aligned with the themes of the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025, presenting innovative, practical, and sustainable solutions.
The event was evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges: Dr. Naveen Kumar J. R., HOD, ECE, SUIET Mukka and Prof. Lokesha B, HOD, EEE, SIT Valachil.
The hackathon, themed “Hackelite: Innovate & Integrate – Crafting Tomorrow’s Smart Solutions”, provided a platform for students to demonstrate their creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. The organizers Deekshith and Nikesh B of 4th year ECE ensured smooth coordination of the event. After thorough evaluation, the best-performing teams were shortlisted to represent the institute at the Smart India Hackathon 2025.
The Internal Hackathon for SIH 2025 was a grand success, strengthening the spirit of innovation, research, and entrepreneurship among students while enhancing their technical and collaborative abilities
