The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru, organized a technical talk on 27th September 2025, as part of the activities of the departmental association ASMA (Association of Students of Mechanical Association) in association with Institution Innovation Council (IIC). The session was delivered by Mr. Shyam Prasad Mudraje, CEO of Speciality Graphites, Puttur, a distinguished industry expert with extensive experience in the field of advanced materials and manufacturing.

In his talk, Mr. Mudraje shared valuable insights on the role of graphite and composite materials in modern industries, highlighting their applications in aerospace, automotive, and energy sectors. He also spoke about the importance of innovation, problem-solving, and adaptability as essential skills for budding engineers to succeed in the competitive industrial landscape.
