Vidya Lakshmi Portal is a government-backed online platform developed under the guidance of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education, and Indian Banks’ Association (IBA). It serves as a single-window digital platform for students seeking education loans and scholarships. Launched as part of the Pradhan Mantri Vidya Lakshmi Karyakram (PMVLK), the portal enables students to apply for education loans from multiple banks through a Common Education Loan Application Form (CELAF). It ensures transparency, simplifies the loan process, and offers access to various interest subsidy schemes provided by the Government of India.
