Technical-talk-on-“Placement-opportunities-for-Mechanical-Engineers”

The Institute of Engineers (I) – A Mechanical Students’ chapter of Srinivas Institute of Technology organized a Technical talk on “Placement opportunities for Mechanical Engineers” for the 7th semester Students of Mechanical Engineering on 27/09/2019 and 04/10/2019 by Prof. Vivek Vijay Kumar, Department of Marine Engineering. In his address he spoke about the current scenario of job market and the need for the mechanical engineers to update themselves to tap into the non-core job market. He also talked about the need for creating a SMART approach towards attaining career goals. He asked the students to keep practicing the aptitude tests and give as many placement interviews in campus and get a job before their degree. Mr. Arvin D’souza and Mr. Varun Krishnan of 7th semester Mechanical engineering and faculty advisor Prof. Sathisha KG, coordinated the programme.
