Industrial Visit

The Students’ association of Marine Engineering (AIMES) and Mechanical Engineering (ASMA) of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil jointly organized an industrial visit for the 3rd semester students of Marine and Mechanical Engineering on 11th March 2022. During the industrial visit, students visited Gurucharan Industries baikampady Mangaluru and Govt. Tool Room & Training Centre (GTTC), Mangaluru. The students were accompanied by Prof. Sathisha KG & Prof. Vasudeva Bhat.In Gurucharan Industries Baikampady Mangaluru, students were guided by Mr. Gurucharn, proprietor of industry where he explained the fabrication and assembly process of Plastic Processing Machines & Single Screw Extrusion Plants, along with allied machinery. The students witnessed hands on the working of both conventional and CNC machines. In GTTC, students underwent demonstration of Scanning machine, 3D printers, IOT, CNC machines by experts who showed them hands on working of machines.
